Mary wants to give her husband that wonderful funeral she and the family need to give but the money has to be saved somewhere for the burial. It happens everyday and everyday the right casket or something has to be compromised because there is only so much money and the costs for the cemetery have to be covered.

There isn’t a Funeral Director anywhere who doesn’t agonize with this dilemma of serving the family but having to watch while the right funeral gets compromised because the family faces the cemetery costs on a limited budget. So, the perfect casket can’t be used or visitation is shortened or something that would truly make the funeral perfect can’t be done. The family is embarrassed. The Funeral Director is saddened to see the disappointment in their eyes.

The Final Arrangements Network, the Internet’s premiere death care consumer information organization, has done something to change this scenario. Final Arrangements has recently begun several services that when used can save a family up to 50% to 60% of the cemetery costs, literally thousand of dollars. Thus, leaving more funds for the Director to work with to create that perfect funeral Mary and her family want and need to have.

The Final Arrangements Network, as custodian of The Cemetery Registry, the Internet’s national private owner cemetery property multi-list service, has recently introduced three enhancements to the Cemetery Registry that if used would offer a way for a director to help a family take care of the cemetery part of the funeral for much less.

THE IMMEDIATE NEED DESIGNATION - Final Arrangements’ private owner selling clients are now encouraged to do the leg work concerning property transfer so that their registered cemetery property can carry the Immediate Need designation. This important notice on a listing means the seller has made sure that if their property were needed immediately, because of a death, the transfer could take place in the 24 to 72 hours necessary to consider the property, just as the family would, if they were dealing with the cemetery directly. The savings are enormous as most private owner property offered in The Final Arrangements Network’s Cemetery Registry carry savings from 20% to 60% for the very same type of property available from the cemetery.

THE BUYERS SEARCH – Anyone looking for property or trying to keep abreast of availability in any City or Cemetery in the U.S. can now get personalized updates of private owner cemetery property for sale as they become available. A Funeral Director can keep informed of the property being sold in his area by private owners and be ready when a family needs it to help save them on the cemetery costs to enhance the funeral services. These search updates come with all the necessary contact, description and pricing information and more importantly those with Immediate Need designation are duly noted.

THE SELLERS ALERT – There are 1.5 million plus cemetery property private owner sellers in the US. A Funeral Director can now receive the latest information on buying and selling activity in any area, city and cemetery in the US and Canada via email. Once an Alert has been started; the types of properties being sought or sold along with pricing and locations are compiled for each client who has begun a Seller’s Alert Tracker. Periodically clients receive the latest information The Final Arrangements Network has for their particular Alert. The nice part of these tracking alerts is they are each customized by the client himself or herself and can be changed anytime the client wishes to.

“These are tools we hope the funeral industry will use to help their families to create the very best services. If we can help a funeral director save, just one family in need, enough money to enhance a loved ones funeral even a little, we have done our duty.” Said Final Arrangements Networks’ Corporate Communications Director, Lori Campbell.

“Funeral Directors can help us, as well, by forwarding private owners who they become aware of who may have property they can add to The Cemetery Registry. We have more Buyers looking for property than we have property to offer them. It could be a wonderful public service for those in need and a great two way street between us and the funeral home professionals we try to serve.” Said Campbell.

Final Arrangements does not charge for the services. The Seller Alerts and Buyer Searches registrations can be done, easily, online at The Final Arrangements Network site.
